Early requiem mass at Kambali College for the repose of the soul of Reverend Brother THEMBO MUGHONGO Faustin-Jérôme.
This Sunday, January 25, 2026, in the East room of the Kambali Institute, in the evening hours, from 4 p.m., a mass was celebrated which saw a massive participation of Assumptionist priests, priests of the Sacred Heart, abbots, as well as numerous religious men and women, lay people, friends and relatives of Reverend Brother THEMBO MUGHONGO Faustin-Jérôme.
This Eucharistic celebration was presided over by the Reverend Father Provincial of Africa of the Assumptionists, surrounded by several concelebrant priests.
As we already know, since January 22, 2026, we learned of the death of our brother. Therefore, in consultation with Monsignor Sikuli Paluku Melchizedech, Bishop of the diocese of Butembo-Beni, the Reverend Father MUSANGANIA KOMBI Jean-Paul, Provincial of Africa of the Assumptionists, made public the program of his funeral, planned in three stages:
From Friday to Saturday, January 23 and 24, 2026: service for the deceased in Assumptionist communities;
Sunday at 4 p.m.: early requiem mass at Kambali College;
Monday at 10 a.m.: requiem mass in Kitatumba, followed by burial in Mahamba.
