For over a century, we have served the Church and humanity through our fundamental pillars.
Parish ministry and new foundations
“Go all over the world. Proclaim the Gospel to all creation” (Mk.16, 15). “…The spirit of the Founder impels us to make the great causes of God and man our own, to take us where God is threatened in man and man threatened as the image of God” (RV 4). Our apostolic zeal impels us to respond to the calls of the Church and the world to evangelize the people of God. From there, we are called to be present in the parish, as artisans of peace, hope and reconciliation in Christ. The parish is a place to make our charism and spirituality visible. We share the elements of our charisma with the faithful.

For us, educating is not only transmitting knowledge, but above all it is responding to the challenge of putting the person at the center of their formation (cf. Pope Francis) until Christ is formed in them (cf. Father Emmanuel d'Alzon). The Assumptionists are present in the sector of nursery, primary, secondary, technical and university teaching and education. We are delighted that our educational institutions are increasingly in demand thanks to the quality of the teaching provided there despite the general decline in intellectual level. Our schools put the learner at the center of their training, providing them with an appropriate framework, modeled by discipline, intellectual rigor and the practice of the Assumptionist virtues of frankness, honesty and courage.

The intuitions of our Founder are alive and perceptible today in the effort and the call within the Church to guard and cultivate personally and together “our common home by protecting it from the pillage of its resources, by adopting more sober lifestyles and aiming at the full use of renewable energies, respectful of the human and natural environment according to the principles of subsidiarity, solidarity and the circular economy”. We have two pastoral tools intended to establish more justice and define the right conditions for peace: the “Justice and Peace Commission” (within the Church where our action is located) and the CAREC.
