The new Saint Joseph community of MUHILA.

Friday April 24, 2026, Father MUSANGANIA KOMBI Jean-Paul accompanied by almost all the members of his Council and supported by all the communities of the Province represented by those of Butembo and Kyondo, finally installed Brothers Augustin KAMBALE TASI, PALUKU KIGHOMA Jean-Bosco and PALUKU WIKONGO Patrick in the new Saint Joseph community of MUHILA.
Indeed, on the first Friday of January 2026, the Father Provincial, during a solemn Mass which he had presided over in the presence of an immense crowd, announced this installation for the following month of February by the Bishop of Butembo-Beni. But, the insecurity having forced the stampede of the inhabitants of the Parish of Kahamba, Parish hosting this community which will be in charge of the Sanctuary of Saint Joseph of Muhila, this installation had been postponed sine die. And, it was finally this Friday, April 24, on the feast of the conversion of Saint Augustine, that while waiting for Monsignor Bishop SIKULI PALUKU Melchesedek to have the necessary time for the blessing of the community, the Brothers were installed there. It was at the end of a Mass presided over by the Father Provincial of Africa in the presence not only of Papa Prosper KATASOHIRE, our benefactor, of his Son Papa Chrysostome KATASOHIRE, but also of a certain number of the faithful of the Parish of Our Lady of Hope of Kahamba, friends and several Assumptionists, some Oblates of the Assumption and some Small Presentation Sisters. God be praised for this wonderful community which already on the first Friday next month, May 1st, will have to solemnly celebrate its patronal feast!
